After-hours services are available when ordered with your rental goods. Experienced event professionals know that equipment performance varies, and that situations often change at off-site events. The need for these after-hours services varies with your sensitivity to risk, the investment made in the event and the importance of the equipment performance.
Project Management For larger events, you will have a project manager who will oversee the installation with you. The project manager ensures that all the equipment is set-up as planned, per the applicable CAD drawing and invoice. At mid-sized events, the project manager will set the set-up plan in motion with the set-up crew, and then leave you to count-in with the delivery driver. For large events, the project manager will attend the set-up and meet with you at the end of the set-up to ensure your satisfaction with all the details. The project manager will also meet the fire and/or building inspector, whenever applicable, and ensure that all is in compliance with the civil codes. This service is free of charge.
Event Support
Staff-on-Site Where the failure of a heater or kitchen equipment or other item can be tolerated for a short time, or when event set-ups may change due to severe wind and weather, Staff-On-Site provides the best response and service. One staff is recommended for each fifteen items of propane equipment and tenting. They will adjust propane equipment, tent anchoring, tent sidewall and, when not attending to the equipment, assist your staff with moving chairs and heaters.
Staff-on-Site service is highly recommended if temporary power is used, such as a generator. Often, electrical equipment is brought to the event that was not planned. When this equipment is added to the existing circuitry, circuit breakers can trip. The man-on-site is able to rebalance the power by moving equipment between circuits, or adding a line for an additional circuit to the generator.
AAA Service (Access to After-Hours Assistance) The event may not require staff-on-Site, yet you may want the security of being able to get help after hours. For a minimal fee, a Staff-On-Call will be placed on stand-by for your event. You will be provided with our project manager’s after-hours contact number. If after-hours service is needed, it will take 1 to 2 hours to get to your event with the requested services which will be billed at the standard overtime rate plus any applicable rental fees.
